SkateAble is a concept derived through my passion for art and skateboarding. I try to salvage or repurpose as many materials as possible for these projects. The majority of these projects have had little to no budget.
This was built and installed at Feralmade Gallery. It's comprised of 90% salvaged materials scored from various sites and dumpsters throughout the greater Cincinnati area. Artist and Co-founder of Able Projects, Ryan Little worked with me on this one.
This was one of the ramps for Bridge Pour at Rhinegeist Brewery. A fundraising event for the Newport, KY D.I.Y. Skatepark.

Able Projects Snake To Snake wall ride was attached to the side of a 25 foot box truck, with a skateboard deck art show on the inside and BatSketball game on the opposing side. The event was for ArtWorks and Music Now. Zach Kincaid is showing how to snake the gap in this photo.

Very accommodating and comfortable chase lounge. The inside is lit with a low watt red light recessed in the roof of the mouth. All the materials were salvaged to build this except for the pink fabric to cover the cushions.

Able Projects Interactive Blue Dragon for an outdoor Contemporary Art Center event. Guests walked through the mouth of the dragon on red carpet cut into the shape of a forked tongue. Patrons left their experience with an Able Projects screen printed blue lotus head band. The interior was mood lit with paper lanterns. The nostrils were equipped with a smoke machine, which enticed visitors curiosity. This piece was made with all salvaged materials.

Tribute booth for the Able Projects and Artworks Contemporary Art Center / UnMuseum show, "Stay Up Cincinnati. This piece pays homage to a local kids show host pioneer, Uncle Al and all his pals. The booth was florescent psychedelic with black light on the inside and one could look through Al's eyes while in there to see kalaidescope to the outside.
The Galaxie Skateshop in Cincinnati, OH wanted a mannequin, so I made them an Eagle Boss.
